Delivering government growth priorities is central to ERDF and this is evident in the support given to Growth Hubs, which are at the heart of Local Enterprise Partnership business support provision across the country. Growth Hubs bring together public and private sector partners to promote, co-ordinate and deliver business support. They provide a mechanism for integrating national and local business support so it is easy for businesses to access by ensuring business support is simpler, more joined up and easier to access.

How the Black Country Growth Hub Helps
There are lots of organisations offering support for businesses, from coaches, mentors and workshops, to grants, awards, websites and more; but how do you know which are the right ones for you and your business?
Growth Hubs were established by the government to be an impartial and transparent guide for businesses like yours, to ensure you find the appropriate support, whatever your needs.
Any business, regardless of size or how long it has traded, or any individual considering starting a business in the region, can contact the Black Country Growth Hub with a specific query or to ask about what support is available to help the business grow.
If it’s a simple answer, the Black Country Growth Hub respond immediately, but if it’s more complicated, they will arrange for a business support officer from one of their partner organisations to get in touch and discuss your question or plans in more detail.
Once they understand your challenge, they will refer you to the relevant organisations to provide the help you need, which might be a relevant workshop, a specialist website, or more in-depth face to face support.
They will keep in touch with you, not just to ensure your query is resolved, but also to make sure you know what other support and guidance is available, should you need it.
