ERDF Publicity and Marketing Workshop
Walsall Football Club (Bescot Stadium)
1st June 2018, 1.30pm – 4pm
The aim of this half-day workshop is to ensure that all project applicants are fully aware of their obligations under the European Structural Investment Fund’s Regulations and the ERDF specifics as covered in the Managing Authority’s guidance. The Programme has strict definitions relating to project use and application of branding (logos, straplines) and marketing/publicity. With these requirements being embedded in ESIF Law, significant penalties can be applied where projects fail to comply with the Regulation or carry out contractual expectations. Content in this workshop will cover these requirements along with discussion and illustration of best practice in developing marketing and communication strategies and the production of press releases and case studies.
The workshop will cover
• Logos, straplines and press releases – which, when and how to apply
• Developing and communicating marketing plans and strategies – internally with project staff and partners and externally to ensure effective recruitment and local sustainability
• Best practice examined
