The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is the managing authority for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme. DCLG has in place locally based teams which is responsible for delivering ERDF programmes. Contact details can be found on DCLG website or click here.
Local Management Committee
Each programme has a local management committee and a growth delivery team to oversee ERDF investment, guide the programme, and assess progress. The committees, chaired by DCLG, include representatives of government departments and local partners including: LEP’s, local authority, business, higher and further education institutions and voluntary and private sector.
The committees have a mix of responsibility including reviewing performance, management information, annual reporting, programme evaluations and strategic linkages with other domestic and European funding programmes.
The Black Country Technical Assistance Team
The Black Country Technical Assistance Team can provide one to one and group support to Black Country ERDF applicants and recipients on a number of project management issues including: procurement, state aid, monitoring, claims, publicity and project closure.
