The next round of ERDF calls have been launched and are due to close on 30th September 2019. The calls below have been released (click on the priority to be redirected to that specific Black Country call). BCTA can give advice and guidance with your ERDF application. Priority 1 – Research and Innovation This call is looking to support research and innovation and specifically: Enhancing research and innovation infrastructure and capacities to develop research and innovation excellence, and promoting centres of competence, in particular those of European interest; Promoting business investment in research and innovation. Priority 2 – Information and Communications Technology This call is looking to enhance access to, and use and quality of, Information and Communications Technology, and specifically developing Information and Communications Technology products and services, e-commerce, and enhancing demand for Information and Communications Technology. Priority 3 – SME support This call is looking to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises, specifically: • promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators. • supporting the creation and the extension of advanced capacities for products, services and development • supporting the capacity of small and medium sized enterprises to grow in regional, national and international markets and to engage in innovation processes For more information, download the call specification.
Priority 4 – Low Carbon This call is looking to support the shift towards a low carbon economy in all sectors, specifically: • promoting the production and distribution of energy derived from renewable resources. • promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy use in enterprises. • supporting energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure, including in public buildings, and in the housing sector. • promoting low-carbon strategies for all types of territories, in particular for urban areas, including the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and mitigation-relevant adaptation measures. • promoting research and innovation in, and adoption of, low-carbon technologies. Priority 6 – Environment and Resource Efficiency This call is looking to preserve and protect the environment and promote resource efficiency, by specifically: • protecting and restoring biodiversity and soil and promoting ecosystem services, including through Natura 2000, and green infrastructure • promoting innovative technologies to improve environmental protection and resource efficiency in the waste sector, water sector and with regard to soil, or to reduce air pollution For more information, download the call specification .
